Day 126 - Read Judges 19

A Levite’s concubine was unfaithful to him and returned to her father in Bethlehem in Judah. The Levite traveled to the father’s house to speak with her in order to bring her back with him. They stayed in the house of an old man on their journey home. Evil men surrounded the house and threatened to take the Levite to do unnatural things to him. The Levite offered his concubine to appease them. They took her and abused her physically. The Levite found her dead outside the door of the house the next morning. He took her home and cut her into twelve pieces. He sent the pieces of her body to the tribes of Israel to seek justice because of the awful acts of these men.
