Day 99 - Read Deuteronomy 23-24

Moses shared laws concerning holiness in the assembly of the Lord. The assembly refers to the offices and responsibilities of those who administer religious ordinances. Holiness was vital to Israel remaining in the will and favor of God. Laws pertaining to relationships with other Israelites and strangers were given to insure purity and holiness. Israel was instructed to remember God brought them out of Egypt. They were once slaves and captives to the rulers of Egypt, but they had become free because God brought them out of their captivity.
