Day 279 - Read Psalm 119:113-176

Today we read the last eight stanzas of Psalm 119. The psalmist revered God and His Word. He was mindful of the judgements of the Lord and did not wish to be condemned by Him. He asked the Lord to protect him from the wicked and to punish them. He longed for the Lord’s commandments, and he sought to follow them diligently. The psalmist chose to delight in the Lord’s precepts and to praise Him for salvation and understanding.
