Day 50 - Read John 19-20

The Jews insisted Jesus be crucified. Jesus was beaten, then crucified. Before His final breath, He said, “It is finished” meaning the payment for sin was complete, and His purpose was complete. One of the soldiers pierced Jesus through His side with a spear. Water and blood poured from Him. The body of Jesus was laid in a tomb. On the third day, the tomb was found to be empty. Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene and the disciples. He allowed Thomas to touch Him to confirm His identity. John wrote these words so you would believe that Jesus is the Christ, Son of the living God, and believing, you may have eternal life in His name.
