Day 114 - Read Joshua 19-20

Joshua, the priest, and the heads of the tribes completed the distribution of land. The tribes of Simeon, Zebulun, Issachar, Asher, Naphtali, and Dan were given their portion. According to the command of God, the people gave Joshua the land of his choice. Joshua chose the city of Timnath-serah in the hill country of Ephraim. Joshua rebuilt the city and settled in it. According to the command of God through Moses, they set Kedesh, Shechem, Kiriath-arba (Hebron), Bezer, Ramoth, and Golan as cities of refuge. These cities provided a safe place for the manslayer who killed without intent.
