Day 107 - Read Joshua 5-6

The Canaanite kings feared the Israelites because they heard what God accomplished for them. Joshua was commanded to circumcise the men of Israel because they were a new generation that was not circumcised during their journey. Israel honored the Passover in Canaan for the first time. Joshua saw the commander of the Lord’s army by Jericho. The commander told Joshua to remove his sandals. Joshua was given instructions to possess Jericho without any fighting. The tactics confirmed that God gave the land to Israel. Joshua honored the promise given to the prostitute to spare her family because she protected two spies previously sent to Jericho. The city was destroyed, and Joshua was known throughout the land.
