Day 75 - Read Numbers 15:22 - 16:50

Jul 7, 2024

God instructed Israel to offer sacrifices for unintentional sins of the congregation and for individuals who committed unintentional sin. God commanded Israel to send the one who intentionally sinned without guilt out of the camp. God commanded Israel to stone a man who broke the Sabbath. Israel was instructed to make tassels on the corners of their garments to remind them to follow God instead of their hearts and eyes. Korah, a descendent of Levi and servant for the tent of meeting, led a large group against Moses and Aaron. God reaffirmed Moses and Aaron and punished Korah and all who rose against them. More people rose against them the following day and God cast a plague against them, killing 14,700 people.
