Day 67 - Read Numbers 2-3

The people were commanded to set up camp according to their clan, according to their fathers’ houses. They were instructed to camp facing the tent of meeting on every side. Each clan was ordered and numbered according to the structure of their fathers’ houses. God gave Moses duties for each tribe in the service of the people and of the tabernacle. God claimed the Levites for Himself and to His service. He previously demanded the first born to be sanctified to Him. He is now requiring the Levites to be sanctified to Himself in their place. The firstborn children were redeemed, and the funds were given to Aaron and his sons as the Lord commanded.
