Day 73 - Read Numbers 12-13

Moses’ sister and brother spoke against him. They questioned his position of leadership because they also prophesied. God spoke to them in the doorway of the tent and reminded them that He spoke to Moses directly while speaking to others in visions. God struck Miriam with leprous skin. Aaron asked for forgiveness and Moses asked God to heal Miriam. Miriam was put outside the camp for seven days, then God healed her. Israel moved camp after Miriam was received again. Moses sent a leader from each tribe to investigate the promised land. Caleb reported that Israel should take possession of the land, but the men who went up with him provided a bad report, discouraging Israel from possessing the land.
