Day 272 - Read Psalm 104-105

Chapter 104 describes the greatness of the Lord. He is described as the creator and the One who provides for all living things. All creation is at His will and relies on Him for everything. The psalmist devoted himself to singing praise to God because of God’s greatness. Chapter 105 is a call to give thanks to the Lord and to tell of His greatness. The psalmist challenges the reader to remember the great deeds of the Lord and to praise Him for His works among His people. The Lord brought His people from slavery in Egypt to the land of freedom. He provided for them on their journey. He gave them the land He promised. He must be praised.
