Day 66 - Read Acts 24-25

Feb 7, 2024

Felix offered an opportunity for the high priest and others to explain their accusations against Paul. Paul offered his defense and challenged the Jews to prove any wrongdoing on his part. When no proof was provided, Felix detained Paul to please the Jews and to offer opportunity for Paul to bribe him. Festus succeeded Felix as governor and heard the charges against Paul, as well as Paul’s defense. He found Paul guilty of nothing worthy of death. Paul requested to be tried by Caesar since he was a Roman citizen. Festus arranged for King Agrippa to question Paul in hopes of identifying the charges before sending him to Caesar.
