Day 71 - Read Romans 5-6

We are reconciled to God through faith because Jesus paid our debt at the right time when we were sinners in need of forgiveness. Forgiveness results in peace with God. The Holy Spirit enables us to endure, producing hope in the believer. God’s love is poured out on us through the Holy Spirit. Death entered because of sin, but the gift of grace was made available through Christ. Grace reigns in righteousness resulting in eternal life. The righteous were once dead in sin but are made alive in Christ. We no longer present our bodies as slaves to sin, but as slaves to righteousness. Sin leads to death, but the grace of God leads to eternal life in Christ.
