Day 79 - Read 1 Corinthians 5-6

The church is made up of followers of Christ. We are to disassociate with people who claim to be believers but are living according to the world. We should not judge the world, but we are to hold believers accountable. Paul condemned the church for ignoring sin in the church. Sinfulness is like leaven. When ignored, it leavens the whole, devastating the church. Paul commanded to church to “Purge the evil person from among you” (1 Cor. 5:13). The church should work together to resolve conflict between believers. We are to flee from sexual immorality, which is sin against the body. Our bodies belong to God who bought us with a price. We are to glorify God with our bodies.
