Day 198 - Read 2 Chronicles 4-6

The altar, the basins (referred to as “seas”), the tables, the lamp stands, and all of the furnishings of the temple were made according to God’s command. The ark was taken to the Most Holy Place. The tablets of the covenant God made with Israel remained in the ark. The musicians and singers worshipped God. The priests were not able to minister because the glory of the Lord filled the house with a cloud. Solomon blessed Israel and reminded them of God’s fulfillment of his promises to David and to Israel. Solomon kneeled on a platform in the presence of the people and prayed. He praised God and asked Him to remain with His people and forgive and bless them as they repented (turned) from their sin.
