Day 407 - Read Nahum 1-3

Nahum prophesied judgement on Nineveh because of their sin against God. The people of Judah were commanded to keep their feasts and fulfill their vows. Their enemies would be destroyed. The Lord is the One who possessed power over all created things, and He would determine their end. He described the coming destruction of Nineveh in detail. The rulers of Assyria were warned that their people would be scattered and would not receive relief. Their destruction would be celebrated among their enemies because of their evil deeds.
