Day 63 - Read Acts 19-20
Feb 4, 2024
Believers in Ephesus were baptized in the name of Jesus. Paul laid hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit and began speaking with power from the Spirit. Sons of Sceva (exorcists) misused the name of Jesus and were overtaken. Men who worshiped the goddess Artemis began a riot against the disciples, but it was soon dispersed. The disciples continued their journey to Troas where Paul preached in an upper room for an extended time. A young man in a window fell asleep and fell to his death, then he was healed. Paul traveled to Miletus and called for the Elders of Ephesus. He charged them to care for the spiritual welfare of the flock (the church) which God obtained with His own blood.
