Day 46 - Read John 12

A dinner was given for Jesus in Bethany. Martha served while Lazarus reclined at the table with Jesus. Mary anointed the feet of Jesus with expensive ointment, wiping it with her hair. Judas, being more concerned about money than honoring Jesus, questioned Mary’s wisdom for not selling the ointment and giving to the poor. The chief priests sought to kill Lazarus because many were believing because of His witness. Jesus entered Jerusalem as a king on a colt, fulfilling prophesy. Those who wish to serve Jesus must follow Him. The Father spoke through a loud voice (like thunder) concerning His glory, and many heard it and marveled. Jesus was the light, the One who came to save the world. He spoke of the authority of the Father.
