Day 176 - Read 2 Kings 13-14
Jehoahaz, son of Jehu, began to reign over Israel in the twenty-third year of Joash, king of Judah. Jehoahaz did evil in the sight of the Lord. The people continued the sins of the house of Jeroboam. Jehoahaz died, and Jehoash (also known as Joash) his son reigned in his place. His reign began in the thirty-seventh year of Joash, king of Judah. Jehoash did evil in the sight of God and reigned for sixteen years. Elisha died. Amaziah began to reign over Judah at the age of twenty-five and reigned twenty-nine years. Jehoash, king of Israel died, and Jeroboam II reigned in his place. Amaziah, king of Judah lived fifteen years after the death of Jehoash, king of Israel. Jeroboam II reigned over Israel forty-one years, then his son Zechariah reigned in his place.
