Day 289 - Read Proverbs 7-8

Feb 6, 2025

Solomon continued to warn of the dangers of falling into the temptations of the adulteress. He urged the reader to exercise wisdom and refuse to give in to her tricks. Though her ways may lure you to her, she will lead you to your death. Wisdom will lead to understanding and truth. Wisdom is better than the riches of this world. Solomon appeared to refer to Jesus as the creator and the perfect wisdom. He would become wisdom in the flesh. Solomon encouraged the reader to be wise in hearing and following the ways of the Lord. The one who possesses wisdom will receive favor from the Lord.
