Day 288 - Read Proverbs 5-6

Solomon warned of the temptations of adultery. The draw of the adulterous woman is enticing, but her ways lead to death. The wise love discipline and maintain honor before the Lord and before His people. Godly teaching will protect you from the temptation of adultery and preserve you from the temptress. The act of adultery may seem harmless in the moment, but the one who does it lacks sense. The result is dishonor and disgrace. The Lord hates haughty eyes, a lying tongue, one that sheds innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, one who runs to evil, false witnesses, and one who seeks to cause disunity among the Lord’s people.
