Day 206 - Read 2 Chronicles 28-29

Ahaz reigned for sixteen years and did not do right in the eyes of the Lord. He made sacrifices to other gods. God’s wrath was against Judah and their enemies conquered them and took their possessions. Ahaz rebelled even more against the Lord and closed the house of the Lord and worshipped other gods. Ahaz died and was not buried with the kings. Hezekiah reigned in his place for twenty-nine years and did right in the eyes of the Lord. He opened the house of the Lord and ordered it to be cleaned and the priests to perform their duties according to the word of the Lord. They made sacrifices to the Lord and worshipped and praised Him with songs.
