Day 246 - Read Psalm 15-18

Dec 25, 2024

David wrote, only the blameless could dwell in the holy place of the Lord. Only the one who’s walk was pure would stand firm. He wrote in chapter sixteen of the security he found in the Lord. He trusted God for his life and as his refuge in death. David prayed to the Lord in chapter seventeen, asking for protection under the Lord’s wing. David sought safety from his enemies and was confident he would remain satisfied in the Lord. Chapter eighteen is a song to the Lord after David was delivered from the hand of Saul. David called the Lord his deliverer, his God, his rock, his shield, his salvation, and his stronghold. David trusted God for mercy and justice.
