Day 333 - Read Isaiah 63-64

Chapter sixty-three begins with a recounting of God’s anger against a people who turned from Him. He destroyed them and poured out their blood on the earth. The mercy of God toward His people was remembered. He saved them from their affliction and redeemed them. They prayed to the Lord for mercy from their enemies, and from their sins. His people continued in their sin for a time, but they sought the Lord and asked that He mold them into the people He desired. They asked for mercy from His wrath against them.
