Day 220 - Read Nehemiah 12-13

The religious officials and servants who returned to Jerusalem to serve were named (chronicled) according to their genealogies, and the people gathered to dedicate the wall. The musicians, the singers, the priests, and the Levites were prepared for service. They worshipped and offered great sacrifices with joy. Men were appointed over the contributions and tithes offered by the many people who came to Jerusalem to worship. Provisions were made for those who served. The Book of Moses (Book of the Law) was read to the people. Nehemiah led a cleansing in Jerusalem according to the word of God that had previously been given to Moses.
