Day 277 - Read Psalm 119:1-56

Psalm 119 is written as an acrostic with each eight verses representing a stanza in which every verse begins with the same letter of the Hebrew alphabet. The first eight verses begin with the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet, then the second eight verses begin with the second letter of the Hebrew alphabet, etc. There are 22 stanzas with eight verses to make 176 total verses in Psalm 119. Pay attention to the psalmist’s description of God’s Word. He delights in God’s Word, and he is devoted to obeying His laws and commands.
