Day 376 - Read Ezekiel 24-25

The word of the Lord came to Ezekiel describing Jerusalem as an unclean people who refused to turn to the Lord. The king of Babylon would take Jerusalem and their ways and deeds would be judged. The Lord took Ezekiel’s wife and commanded Ezekiel not to mourn her death as was custom. The Lord used this experience as a sign to the people that their place of honor would be destroyed by their enemy because they refused to honor the Lord. The word of the Lord came to Ezekiel with explanation as to how and why the Lord’s vengeance would be poured against Ammon, Moab and Seir, Edom, and against Philistia.
