Day 219 - Read Nehemiah 10-11

The people sealed a covenant with God. The people vowed to keep the commands of God and to worship Him, to offer sacrifices, and to give according to His commands to the house of the Lord. They cast lots to bring one out of every ten to live inside the walls of the city. Living arrangements were determined by the needs of the city, the house of the Lord, and the people of Israel.
