Day 327 - Read Isaiah 46-48

The creation and worship of idols is condemned. Idols are made by human hands and have no ability to save or answer those who worship them. No god or idol could be compared with the Lord. God’s people were delivered from captivity in Babylon. Babylon will receive judgement for their deeds against God’s people and for refusing to worship God. God prepared His people through affliction and revealed His power and knowledge to them. He declared His acts before they occurred. He was the One who worked through Cyrus to rescue His people. God called Israel out of Babylon and exhorted them to go with joy to their land and obey His commands.
