Again, consider starting your Church Group Time with some big-picture questions about how things are going so far at GENERATE.
• Ask for the day’s “High’s and Low’s.”
• Recall any of your favorite moments from the day.
• As today was the last day, what are your absolute FAVORITE moments from GENERATE?
Then, check in with how students reacted to the night's time of worship and the worship sessions in general.
• What was your favorite aspect of worship tonight? Of the week?
• Was there a specific song, video, or sketch that resonated with you?
• What were some points made or truths revealed tonight that spoke to you?
• Overall. What do you think God is calling you to after what you have learned this week in worship?
If you want, consider asking some questions related to the content of the day’s Village Gathering. Use the following questions or come up with your own:
• What are some things that might cause embarrassment but not shame?
• Take some time to think about things in your future that are out of your control. (Some examples might be the state of the world, if/where my friends move, or even the weather!) How can we practice embracing the unknown and surrendering it to God?
• Based on what we discussed during our time together, how would you define Total Surrender? Take a look at our theme verse, Galatians 2:20, and see if you can form a definition with that language.
• What is one thing you are most excited to tell others when we return to our 'regularly scheduled lives'?
